Notice: New JCSAI Manuscript Template Effective from Vol. 3 No. 2 (2026)

02-08-2026

The Journal of Computation Science and Artificial Intelligence (JCSAI) hereby informs authors, reviewers, editors, and prospective contributors that the journal will implement the JCSAI Manuscript Template 2026 Version 2 for manuscripts submitted for publication beginning with Vol. 3 No. 2 (2026) and subsequent issues.

Authors who intend to submit manuscripts for Vol. 3 No. 2 (2026) or later issues are required to prepare their manuscripts using the latest template. The new template has been introduced to improve the consistency, readability, completeness, metadata accuracy, and overall presentation of articles published by JCSAI.

The updated template includes standardized requirements concerning:

  • article title and author information;

  • institutional affiliations and corresponding-author details;

  • abstracts and keywords;

  • article structure and heading levels;

  • tables, figures, and equations;

  • citation and reference formatting;

  • acknowledgments and funding information;

  • author contribution statements;

  • conflict-of-interest declarations;

  • research ethics and informed-consent statements;

  • data availability statements;

  • generative artificial intelligence disclosure;

  • copyright and licensing information; and

  • other publication-related declarations.

Effective Application

The JCSAI Manuscript Template 2026 Version 2 applies to:

  1. new manuscripts submitted for Vol. 3 No. 2 (2026);

  2. manuscripts submitted for subsequent issues;

  3. manuscripts returned to authors for technical correction before editorial assessment; and

  4. revised manuscripts when the editorial team specifically requests conversion to the new template.

Manuscripts that have already entered an active peer-review process using the previous template may continue using that format unless the handling editor requests otherwise.

Author Responsibilities

Before submitting a manuscript, authors must:

  1. download the latest template from the official JCSAI website;

  2. prepare the complete manuscript using the new template;

  3. ensure that the manuscript complies with the current Author Guidelines;

  4. remove author-identifying information from the blinded review file;

  5. enter complete and accurate author metadata in OJS;

  6. include all required ethical and publication declarations; and

  7. submit the manuscript only through the official JCSAI Open Journal Systems platform.

Manuscripts submitted using an outdated template may be returned to the authors for technical correction before desk review or external peer review.
